Hey Eva-fellows! What’s up?

Great news here, I’m glad to announce that our first short movie, DAYDREAM, has reached 1000+ views since a couple of days! We are really happy and proud for it, we can’t wait to finish our second work!

In the meantime I had the chance to collaborate with an amazing animator, Johannes Matsson from Sweden: I made some nice homophonic sound design on his amazing new character animation called SPACEMAN. It was REALLY fun doing it! Really reminds me of Pixar’s Wall-E, one of my favorite animation movies! And I was not the only one from Eva to work in it, our buddy LB made a little cameo in it: he actually is the voice of the Spaceman himself!

Hope you like our latest collaboration!

Peace,

MrW

Hey, what’s up? everything’s fine? Hope so!

Here at the “Eva Coolness Factory” things are doing great! It’s a couple of days I’ve been experimenting some insanely intresting new stuff, one of which are HOLOPHONIC SOUNDS!

Yeah, weird stuff as you can tell from the name! They basically work following the same concept of holograms, giving you an extraordinary illusion that the sounds you hear are actually “placed” in certain positions around you!

All you have to do is to follow the instructions! So, check this track out and tell me what you think!

Here are the instructions:

You are going to hear someone walking around you, now:

1) wear a pair of HEADPHONES, any will be ok, in-ear, extra aural or any else.
2) try NOT to be in a too noisy environment!
3) CLOSE YOUR EYES and FOCUS on what you hear- Don’t be shy, I swear nothing will harm you and your ears, just close your eyes!

4) when you have listened to the full track WRITE WHERE THE WALKER PASSED, where he/she starts walking, what path does he/she walks around you, if he/she is close or far from you, at your righ or your left, in front of you or behind you! Remember, it WILL NOT WORK if you keep your eyes open!
I’m experimenting for a sound design project so I REALLY NEED YOUR FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE THE EFFECT!

Thanks!

Peace,
MrW

LB’s wonderful Design Contest: let’s support him!

Hi guys! I’m in a sort of bloody competition with a nice crew of friends. Well, in fact I’m going to gain a shiny Bachelor Grade in Design, so the University involved me in a really cool international contest. If you would like to support me, well dudes it’s really simple!
Go to this link (it would lead you to the competition’s award entries) and look for LOVE MACHINE project.

It looks like this.

What’s the next step? VOTE FOR US! (if you like our project, naturally)
Five stars would be really helpful and surely, kindly appreciated.

C’mon guys, thy olde LB needs you!

LB, who else?
